Want to learn the basics to make a better cocktail or want to sharpen your skills? Justin Briggs, an expert mixologist and the ambassador of booze with Michael Skurnik Wines will be on hand to show you some craft spirits and teach you how to use them.

This composed class of cocktails 101 is perfect timing to help resolve your holiday menu.

Justin has been leading cocktail & bar programs around Brooklyn and Manhattan for over a decade. In 2011, Beverage Media Guide declared him one of it's Top 10 Mixologists To Watch. His cocktails have been featured in the New York Times and Imbibe Magazine, and his cocktail lists have won several recent awards.

Justin is an Apprentice Team Leader annually at New Orleans' Tales of the Cocktail, and this year will also be a team leader at the San Antonio Cocktail Conference; crossing disciplines, Justin has also had a hand in cocktail features for a wide range of performances and events -- from Ira Glass & This American Life to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. In his spare time, Justin also teaches cocktail classes regularly in New York and Vermont, as well as creating a line of bitters with Brooklyn-based artisanal goods line Cecil & Merl.
